Maria Mann

Presidente do Júri

Director of International Relations for European Pressphoto Agency. Maria has judged World Press, UNICEF, Belarus Photos of the Year, Bayeux War Correspondents, POY, Joop Swart Masterclass portfolios and CHIPP in China. She is founding chair of Best of Photojournalism Contest.

Yannis Behrakis

Greek photojournalist for Reuters since late 1987, Behrakis has won among various awards the first prize by the World Press Photo, in 2000, and the 2002 Bayeux Awards for war correspondents. Three times European photojournalist of the year by Fuji (1999, 2002 and 2004). In 2011 he was awarded by the NPPA (National Press Photographers Association) an award of excellence in the Best of Photojournalism competition. 

Ruth Eichhorn

Director of photography of the Geo magazines. She nominates for a number of awards as for the Joop Swart Masterclass, she is a member of the Unicef Photo of the Year jury from the start, and was three times a member of the World Press Photo juries. She was member of many other juries as POYi, CHIPP, World Photography Award, Visual Lead Award in Germany and others. 

Horacio Villalobos

Started his career in photojournalism working as photographer for El Dia, a daily newspaper in la Plata, Argentina, his home town. He followed on as freelancer for several years for prestigious international media such as UPI, AP, Time, Newsweek, Business Week and the New York Times, before joining Diario Popular in Buenos Aires, before moving to Paris where he worked for Corbis.

Elena Boille

Elena Boille is deputy editor-in-chief and photo editor of the Italian news magazine Internazionale. Graduated in history of art, she is a journalist and one of the co-founders of Internazionale, launched in 1993. She oversees the photo desk and she’s in charge of the science section of the magazine. She has judged photojournalism contests, she has given workshops and taught photo editing at Luiss Business School’s new journalisms course.
