The annual GRANT (4,000.00 EUR) aim to support two photojournalists throughout 2022/2023 to develop their photography projects focused on the Coimbra region.

For any application to the considered for the competition it is mandatory to present:

Descriptive Brief should have a title and develop three points: a detailed exposition of the project, the way it is to be developed, and the project’s objectives – you can not insert your identification in this document;

Portfolio – with a maximum of 20 photographs;

Identification – filled in all camps;

Biography – filled in all camps.

The candidates’s identification is contained in the two latter documents only.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

The Portfolio can contain up to 20 photographs maximum.

The images in the latter need to have a resolution of 3500 pixels (longest length), 300 dpi, RGB, and JPEG format.

Images must present a dated caption on Caption.

Reference to the author is not allowed in any part of the photograph, caption, nor in the naming of the image;

The Descriptive Brief needs to have a title and provide information on the following three points: detailed description of the project, method or how the project will be developed, and objectives. Written in English and Portuguese (or Galician). Maximum character count between 2,500 – 3,000;

The candidate’s Biography needs to be written as a full text throughout, in English and Portuguese (or Galician), with a maximum of 500 – 800 characters.

BOLSA ESTAÇÃO IMAGEM 2022 COIMBRA

A Bolsa anual, cun valor de 4000,00 €, está destinada a permitir que un fotoxornalista poida desenvolver durante 2022/2023 un proxecto fotográfico sobre a rexión de Coimbra.

Cada candidatura a concurso implica o recheo de:

Memoria Descritiva, non pode introducir a súa identificación neste documento.

Portefólio, cun máximo de 20 fotografías.

Identificación, debidamente cuberta.

Biografía, debidamente cuberta. Estes dous últimos documentos serán os únicos onde figurará a identificación do competidor.

CARACTERÍSTICAS TÉCNICAS

O portefólio pode ter ata un máximo de 20 fotografías.

As imaxes do portefólio deben ter a resolución de 3500 pixeis no lado maior, a 300 dpi, RGB, en formato JPEG.

As imaxes debería conter unha lenda datada no Caption

En ningún lugar do nome da imaxe, do Caption ou de calquera outro campo da fotografía pode figurar a referencia ao seu autor.

A Memoria Descritiva debe ter un título e ser composta por tres puntos: narración pormenorizada do proxecto, o xeito no que o pretenden realizar e os obxectivos a alcanzar. Ten que ser presentada en inglés e en portugués ou galego. O texto debe ter entre 2.500 a 3.000 caracteres.

A biografía do candidato, debe ter un texto corrido, entre 500 a 800 caracteres, en inglés e en portugués ou galego.
